Watch for the 2011 course dates.                                                                                                                       Rising Sun is also a mobile training entity and as such, we can travel to your range / region to instruct courses. If you have any questions regarding our course offerings, send us an email via the Contact page and we will attempt to answer your queries for you. All Edmonton area courses are held outside and as such are seasonal: late spring to early fall.

NOTE: Edmonton area courses will be limited this year due to commitments outside this region.

NOTE: Our firearms courses start with a lecture period and then progress to the range where they are fast paced. We will teach you to get the most out of your shooting in a very short time frame. Safety is paramount in our courses and anyone violating the safety rules will be escorted from the range, no exceptions. We take our training seriously and since you are paying for it, you should as well. If our training is not to your liking, we will refund your tuition 100%. If we ask you to leave, your tuition will be refunded 100%. Competence and safety go hand in hand. We are confident in the quality of instruction we offer and will not compromise in our standards. Having said that, our courses are also not for beginners. Potential students should have a solid foundation in the course format that they wish to participate in. A Black Badge course, law enforcement or military training as well as training at another firearms training facility will usually qualify you for participation.
